Your questions answered

Our Most Common questions

Short Term Accommodation, including respite, gives you the opportunity to stay somewhere new for a short time (usually up to 14 days) while receiving support with daily living.

STA can help you build independence, meet new people, try new experiences, and give both you and your regular carers a well-earned break.

Medium Term Accommodation provides temporary housing for NDIS participants who are waiting for a more permanent home or Supported Independent Living (SIL) arrangement.

It ensures you have a safe, comfortable place to live while your long-term supports are being finalised.

STA is typically funded for short stays (up to 14 days at a time) while MTA can cover stays of up to 90 days or until your permanent home becomes available.

We work closely with you, your support coordinator, and the NDIS to make sure your stay is right for your situation and goals.
